Our Story
Pastors Stormy and Shelly grew up and graduated high school in Clovis, New Mexico. After marrying, they attended Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma and graduated in 1982.
In 1983 they moved back to Clovis with dreams of working in the ministry. They were involved in starting Faith Christian Family Church in Clovis and served there for twenty years. During that time they also ministered in the cities of Portales and Tucumcari, New Mexico.
In July of 2000, while commuting back and forth from Clovis, they began Faith Christian Family Church in Lubbock with eight people. Pastors Stormy and Shelly continued the commute for three years before officially moving to Lubbock.
Their mission is to reach the city of Lubbock with the gospel of Christ no matter the individual's race, culture, age, economic standing and/or church background.
